The challenge

Archavio is a platform for building portfolio and catalog websites. The sites on archavio.com range from a photographer and a brand designer to a fashion store and a skin-care brand. Its users need one place to show their work or their products, sorted so visitors can browse them, and easy to share in one link.

  • Photographers, designers, and students who need one place to show their work
  • Shops and small brands that want a catalog their customers can browse and order from
  • Sites that should be quick to build, sorted into categories, and easy to share

What we built

We built the platform in 2025: sign-up, onboarding, the editor, and the public sites. A new user verifies their email, then chooses a portfolio or a catalog. A portfolio is personal or academic, and an academic one adds the university, the field of study, the expected graduation year, and a university badge. Each user picks the address of their site, and the editor checks it is free as they type.

In a portfolio, users add a photo, a professional title, an about section, a CV to download, and up to six contact and social links. They sort their projects into their own categories, each project with a title, a description, tags, and several images. Visitors browse by category and search by text, category, and tag. Every public site is listed in the platform's sitemap for search engines.

A catalog works the same way for products, in English or Arabic, right to left in Arabic, with prices in USD or LBP. Each product has its images, tags, and stock status, and either one price or variants with their own prices. Visitors add products to a cart and check out for delivery or pickup, paying cash. The owner gets each order by email and follows it in an order history, marked complete or incomplete.

How it works

How a site goes live.

  1. Step 1: Sign up

The user signs up and verifies their email.

  2. Step 2: Choose

They choose a portfolio, personal or academic, or a catalog.

  3. Step 3: Set up

They pick the site's address and add a photo, an about section, and contact links.

  4. Step 4: Add work

They sort projects or products into categories, with images and tags.

  5. Step 5: Share

The site goes live at its own address, shared in one link.

In a catalog, visitors then order for delivery or pickup, and the owner gets each order by email.

The outcome

  • A portfolio for each user, personal or academic, with projects sorted into their own categories
  • Catalogs in English or Arabic with variants, a cart, checkout for delivery or pickup, and orders by email
  • Each site at its own address, shared in one link, searchable by text, category, and tag

The project in numbers

  • 2kinds of site to build, a portfolio or a product catalog
  • 2portfolio types, personal and academic
  • 6contact and social links each site can show
  • 2languages for catalogs, English and Arabic
