The challenge

Otaku Mart sells Japanese and Korean food in Lebanon, from anime snacks, candies, and drinks to ramen, frozen food, and cooking ingredients. It is a niche range, and the shop needed one place online where customers anywhere in Lebanon could find every product, order it, and have it delivered.

  • A niche range of Japanese and Korean food to sell across Lebanon
  • Customers who needed one place to find every product and order it
  • Orders to take with payment on delivery, and to follow until they arrive

What we built

We built Otaku Mart's online store, otakumartlb.com. Customers browse 13 categories, filter and sort the products, or search the whole range. They save favorites to a wishlist, fill a cart, and check out paying on delivery or through the Whish app. Each order gets an order ID in a confirmation email, and customers track the order on the store with it.

The store also sells mystery boxes and gift boxes, and runs weekly offers and promotions. On a phone, a bar at the bottom of the screen keeps the store, search, the wishlist, the account, and the categories one tap away. Otaku Mart's team runs products, prices, offers, and orders from the store's admin, and delivers across Lebanon. We keep supporting the store, which has made $100k+ in revenue.
