From first lesson to job shortlist
A bilingual learning platform for Careerly that links courses, webinars, and certificates to a scored talent profile, a job board, and a talent pool for its team.
The challenge
Careerly is a career academy in Beirut, Lebanon. On careerlyacademy.com it offers recorded courses, live workshops, and webinars, alongside career services such as CV writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation. Careerly asked for one platform that connects that learning to jobs: a scored talent profile, a job board, and a searchable talent pool for its team.

What we built
We built it on Laravel across 2025 and 2026, starting from an existing learning-platform base and shaping it around Careerly. The interface runs in English and Arabic, right to left in Arabic, with Google and Microsoft sign-in. Learners follow lessons, quizzes, and assignments in a redesigned course player, discuss each course in its forum, and join live classes with recordings. A finished course emails them a PDF certificate to share on LinkedIn.
Learning earns XP. Lessons, quizzes, assignments, reviews, enrollments, and daily streaks all count, and XP sets one of seven levels, from Explorer to Mentor. Learners unlock 14 badges, climb weekly, monthly, and per-course leaderboards, and spend points on course coupons, free webinars, and discounts on Careerly's services. Webinars run on Zoom with registration, invitations, and a calendar file, and reminder emails go out ahead of each webinar and live class, within working hours.
The career side starts with a nine-step talent profile, built from Careerly's own form. The system scores each profile out of 100 across five categories, from professional branding to recruiter readiness, and sets a level from A+ to D. Courses completed on the platform count toward the score. Jobs arrive from a CSV file, and a ready-made prompt for an AI assistant turns vacancy documents into that file. Each learner sees the jobs that match their profile by at least 40%, with the reasons. Careerly's team filters the talent pool, rates candidates on five criteria, tracks each one from New to Hired, and exports the list.
