LTC Logistics
From phone calls to tracking in the app
Customers of LTC Logistics track their shipments themselves, from anywhere, in an iOS and Android app and on a new bilingual website, instead of calling its team.
The challenge
LTC Logistics is a freight forwarder and shipping company in Beirut, founded in 1945, moving cargo by sea, air, and land. Its team kept getting calls from customers asking where their shipments were, and its website was out of date.
- Customers calling the team to ask where their shipments were
- Shipment details held in LTC's ERP, shared with customers by phone
- An outdated company website
What we built
We built a customer app for iOS and Android, in English and Arabic. Customers sign in with the mobile number registered with LTC and a one-time code. The home screen counts their shipments by status and lists the latest ones, and a search finds any shipment by its shipment, job, or master number.
Each shipment opens with its route, mode, job number, date, packages, weight, volume, and containers, along with its invoice and payment status. A timeline shows where it stands, from created to closed, and customers can export a shipment report as a PDF. The data comes from LTC's own freight ERP: our service checks each customer against it and syncs their shipments.
We also built LTC a new company website, in English and Arabic with a full right-to-left layout. It covers six services, from sea, air, and land freight to customs brokerage, warehousing, and exhibition logistics, with nine industry pages, news, careers, a franchise page, and a glossary of 34 freight terms. Its tracking page uses the same sign-in as the app: customers filter their shipments by status, open each one, and export it as a PDF.

How it works
How a customer checks a shipment.
Step 1: Sign in
The customer enters the mobile number registered with LTC.
Step 2: Verify
A one-time code confirms the number.
Step 3: Sync
The system brings in the customer's shipments from LTC's ERP.
Step 4: Find
The customer searches by shipment, job, or master number.
Step 5: Track
The shipment opens with its route, details, invoice, and status timeline.
Step 6: Export
The customer saves a shipment report as a PDF.
The website's tracking page uses the same sign-in and shows the same shipments.

- An iOS and Android app where customers track their shipments themselves, from anywhere
- Each shipment's route, details, invoice, and status timeline, synced from LTC's ERP, with a PDF report
- A new bilingual website with the same shipment tracking as the app
The project in numbers

- 3shipping modes in the app: sea, air, and land
- 6services on the new website, each with its own page
- 2languages, English and Arabic, in the app and on the website
